As they are escaping the town, the Postal Dude says "I regret nothing!", and the nuclear warhead is detonated, destroying the town once and for all.Ĭontinuing where the original left off, this added two new days ( Saturday and Sunday). He successfully defeats Mike J, and escapes Paradise along with Champ in his car. At this point, the world around the Postal Dude changes, and ultimately, he finds himself up against a zombified Mike J. Soon, they find that their car and trailer is being used as a roadblock. The two make their way across a bridge completely overrun with zombies and National Guard. He heads to the dog pound, and fights through waves of rednecks and gimped-up dogs and cats before finally rescuing Champ. Thinking it will come in useful when destroying the rival video game company, he takes it and brings it to the rival game company's headquarters, which has been overrun by zombies since his last visit.Īfter fighting through the zombies and setting the warhead down in Hogslop's office, the Postal Dude remembers that his dog Champ is in the pound, and must rescue him before escaping the town. As he is escaping, he comes across a Thermo-nuclear warhead. By setting his "highly flammable Taliban cell-mate" on fire, he breaks out of his holding cell and escapes the base, leaving behind him a trail of dead soldiers who tried to stop him. Eventually, the Postal Dude is arrested by the National Guard while escaping from the base, and is held prisoner at the Paradise Military Base Stockade. During this, the camp comes under attack by the National Guard. Ultimately, the terrorists at the camp begin shooting at him, and he must fight through them to find ordnance himself. Postal Dude comes up with the plan of using explosives to show this, and decides it will be a good idea to ask Al Qaeda at their Terrorist Training Camp for some ordnance. He also says that he needs a way to show the world that Running With Scissors isn't to be messed with. So, Vince has promoted the Dude to marketing manager. Upon leaving, Vince Desi calls the Dude again, and tells him that Mike J has been infected with the mad-cow disease. The next morning, Postal Dude wakes up to find that Vince's house has been infested with zombies. To celebrate, Vince invites Postal Dude to his house for a party with the Postal Babes. Following a boss battle, Postal Dude kills Haugslop and retrieves the golden disc. He fights through numerous security guards, and finds himself in Phraud Hogslop's office, the CEO of the company. The Dude accepts, and goes to the company's headquarters. Following the cutscene, the Postal Dude is called by his ex-boss Vince Desi, who asks him to go to Bullfish Interactive and retrieve a Gold Master. The player never actually gets to do this Pigeon Relocator mission, and instead, a cutscene plays showing the aftermath. Impressed by his work, the officer promotes the Postal Dude to the "Pigeon Relocator", and gives him a Rocket Launcher in order to do the job. Dude accepts, and kills all the diseased cows on a pasture with a sledgehammer, at the same time coming across vegetarians who try and intervene. The Cineplex Odeon Eaton Centre was a natural extension of the multi-screen concept. ![]() Nathan Taylor also had experience with operating multi-screen complexes, as he had opened one in Ottawa and had previously divided the Uptown Theatres into the Uptown Five. Thus, increased revenues were generated without increasing costs for rent, taxes, and heating. Multi-screen complexes allowed theatre owners to screen several movies in the same building, catering to the different tastes of viewers. He also had considerable experience in converting large theatre auditoriums into smaller venues, as he had redesigned the Hollywood, Imperial, and Loew’s Uptown Theatres into multi-screen complexes. He had designed theatres for several decades, having been the architect for many theatres across Canada and also had restored the Elgin/Winter Garden Theatres. They coined the word “Cineplex” for the theatre-a contraction of “cinema complex.” Mandel Sprachman was hired as the architect. #Parkdale mall movies series#To create the theatre complex, the huge space below the parking garage was converted into a series of small theatres, all under the same roof. It was in the heart of the city at Yonge and Dundas and easily accessible by public transportation. They formed the Cineplex Odeon Corporation in 1979, as they realized the possibilities of the space in the Eaton Centre as a site for a movie-theatre complex. In the basement of the garage was a 25,000 square-foot space that attracted the attention of Nathan A. On the northwest corner of the Eaton Centre was a ten-storey parking garage. The new mall was instantly popular with Torontonians and attracted thousands of tourists as well. When the Eaton Centre opened in 1979, the area south of Dundas was revived. The EyeTV is also far simpler and more reliable than a competing, computer-based digital-TV tuner, PCTV Systems' PCTV HD mini stick. Still, the EyeTV is one of only a few options that I've seen for simple, over-the-air recording of HDTV - and even its unnecessarily complicated exporting routines beat the lack of any such options in another contender, Dish Network's DTVPal DVR. The "Toast" button in its toolbar works only if you already have a copy of Roxio's $100 disc-burning program otherwise, you need to select an export-to-iDVD option, wait for the program to spit out a copy of the file, and then switch over to Apple's program to finish the job. ![]() But here's where Elgato's otherwise terrific software falls down a bit: Although it provides numerous, simple options for exporting a program to an iPod, iPhone or Apple TV, among others, it doesn't offer an equally simple way to burn a DVD of a recording. #EYETV ONE MAC TV#You can schedule recordings or pause TV as you want. ![]() (Then again, that remote may not work at all on desktop Macs that reserve their USB ports for the back of the computer.) Its program guide offers the same kind of point-and-click simplicity that TiVo owners have grown accustomed to, but in an iTunes-esque interface that allows find-as-you-type searching for programs. The EyeTV's best feature, however, isn't its hardware but its software. The EyeTV's tuner picked up about as many channels as the hardware in the TV, but somehow each found one or two stations that the other missed in its first scan (22 and 54 for the EyeTV, 1 and 30 for the TV). #EYETV ONE MAC MAC#This was no trouble to set up on a Mac mini connected to an older HDTV, with the only wait being the brief delay for its setup assistant to finish detecting over-the-air channels.
